Bananas and Your Dog

BANANAS AND YOUR DOG

Below are some of the health benefits for dogs found in bananas:

⭐️ Bananas are high in fiber helping to relieve gastrointestinal symptoms

⭐️ They are a prime source of magnesium and potassium

⭐️ They also provide a natural energy boost

⭐️ Contains Vitamin A, Vitamin B6, and Vitamin C

⭐️ A good source of Folate, Iron, Zinc, and Vitamin B2.

⭐️ Bananas are low in fat, sodium and cholesterol

⭐️ Frozen bananas have been known to make a great substitute for human ice cream

Bananas are safe and healthy for dogs when they’re given in moderation because they can be higher in sugar than what you might find in other fruits. That being said, the sugar in bananas can serve as a great substitute for a sweet and healthy treat to give your pup.  Frozen bananas are a great way to give your dog something similar to human ice cream without all the added sugars and fats.

You should avoid giving your dog the banana peel to avoid choking. In addition, the peels are difficult to digest and can cause gastrointestinal problems.
